Thanks Joe, Eddie I may give that a try also, I started another one yesterday so I will have plenty to practice on. ;) Also got my Elm donation bow braced and back on the form for so tweaking, it is giving me fits twisting and torquing from side to side, not sure why, may still be a little wet. :-\ I will be able to tell more when I get it off the form this evening. :) :)

Got my Elm off the form yesterday, it looks good now but we will see what it looks like when I brace it again before giving it the thumbs up. :-\ I will give it until tomorrow before I brace it again. I also got 2 more blow horn in the works yesterday, to many projects going right now, but HA, that's what keeps me going. :) Supposed to be rainy this weekend so maybe I can get a few of them finished up. :)

Ya they got a dogs life for sure, they love cleaning up and chewing up all my horn/sinew/rawhide/antler and anything else scrap that can be eaten or chewed on and when they aren't doing that they are wrestling in the yard. ;) :) It's funny any time I get out the scissors or turn on the band saw they both come running, Sister just following Sally's lead for now, because they figure I am cutting something that they will want a part of. ;) :) Love my dogs. :)

I have a couple of blow horns almost done and a new powder horn in the works. I plan to also brace my ElmHall  Elm bow and see if the heat gun tweaking helped, :-\ if so I want to try and get it shooting, busy busy. ;) Hope yall have a good one also. See ya Monday. Great weekend, a little wet and cool but other than that a very nice time around the cabin. I got a little bow work done some more horns ready to seal and also got some shooting in. Here are a few pictures of the fun. Michael working on a Walnut bow and my Elm bow off the form, I think it is still a little wet so in the hot box it goes for a few days. :)

I never like the way my plugs fitted so I made this on from a sour wood shaft and attached it to the end plug for a stopper, it worked out great. Some of my other projects ready to seal and Jon doing some arrow work. :) I also decided to work on another Osage while my elm dries out. :)

Mike Scott showed up for the weekend, he put some very nice Timber rattlers on and Osage bow. He split this skin in half , 1 Skin for a complete bow, turned out really nice looking with great color. :) He was also testing out Randy's new Glass bow. :o  Sister has found he a warm spot in the fire pit, it was a little chilly Saturday for her. :)

Mikes bow looks great.  Timbers are one of the few snakes that you can split and it doesn't hurt the pattern.  That is a great picture of Sister sleeping in the fire pit.
I started out with nothin' and I still got most of it left
