That one is looking ready for the woods. Got the itch to put some arrows together for BH's yesterday. Then, got the itch to shoot some or at least test them. The Magnus with the weight is the ticket.

Got my peppers and egg plants in. This hot weather is taking my lettuce to seed rather fast! Have a few more peppers to go in. Then, I'm set til the fall greens.

Got my end of gear ready, just need to pull out my cot.

Pappy. Do you do anything to stabilize bone when you use it for handles and such? I am trying to make a crown for my grand daughter out of antler and deer teeth and was just wondering. I thought a skull plate medallion would be a nice touch. I guess I can just polish but what have you found that makes it durable and attractive to a 4 year old. We played pirate, watered all the plants, talked to the bluebird parents and chicks, and tried to pet a cottontail today. She deserves this crown I promised her. She says she needs it for her wedding.

Yes BJ it is, it is very clean with good rings and ratio except the 2 knot holes in the top limb.  :) Chief I just make sure it is dry and sometimes I use thin super glue in the cracks/joints where the skull goes together in 3 pieces , I do it from the inside out and if I plan on using ink to make the joint stand out I do that before I do the glue. that is about the only weak point in the skull cap, :)  that sound cool, I got a little girl now and just love hanging out with her, if fact this is Margaret Ann Wednesday and she will be here in a little while. :) :) :) :)

Here are a few pictures of the weekend. The last bow I was working on, trying to get it sealed up to take to AL.
