Thank goodness it's Friday. It has been a long week. Can't wait to get to the cabin and relax
and do a little Hunting.I got all my honey do's done this week and ready for some time off.
Cut up meat most of the week and then last night we were invited to a hunters ed. class. Can't miss a chance to talk to the kids and show them there are other ways to hunt.It went well and the kids showed a lot of intrest. They didn't know you could hunt with stuff like that  :) Don't have much special planed for the weekend But King Ron and Castiron is coming down so I know it will
be fun and I am sure we will eat good.Maybe even kill something. It is suppose to be hot Sat.so
I plan to hunt the mornings and play the evenings by ear.Hope yall have a good one.See ya
Monday.Life is good. Here are some pictures of the week. :) The first is a good friends deer
it was killed with wheels so no picture of the bow.The 2nd is the back strap sinew I saved this week. The 3rd is Grant cutting up deer meat for the club freezer. The 4th is Miss Joanie's stash I fixed up for home and our set up at the Hunters ED. class.

Glad to see you taking your free time to educate the young ones. I'm sure you guys made lasting impressions. Looks like a lot of work butchering, but well worth it. Good luck hunting.

Ya we always have time for the kids, its our future. The meat prosessing is a big job but for a winter supply and not have to buy any meat for a year or so it is time well spent.  :)

Had a great weekend, done some hunting but no one done any good, except Jimmy.I miss a nice 8 point Sunday morning,10 yards,go figure, right over his back.Well it ant the first and I am pretty sure it won't be the last. :) Jesse,Grant and KingRon was down along with several friends GregB,BigA
and terry during the day.Jesse got a bow sinew backed and of course done some napping.I also
put a handle on a ax head jesse made and cut a small tree to make a bow from.It will be my first stone tool bow and from the way it is going it may be my last unless things really get bad and
I have to. ;) ;D Of course we ate good. Here are some pictures.Hope yall had a good one also.
Life is good. :)

I had some good venison cooked in the crock pot this weekend, but somehow not as good as when cooked over the fire. I've been missing out here lately! :(

More fun at Twin Oaks! 8) Never a dull moment around there.
Sorry you missed Pappy but it is better to have shot and missed than never to have shot at all. ::) ;D
  You'll get another chance.
Jesse, you are a knapping machine. Your work is exceptional. I guess having a good teacher like James helps.     Pat
