the photo with the 4 of you shooting is really cool!
 Jeremiah, It might be a good idea to wait and cut the trees the 1st of the year when the sap is down Jan-Mar is best.
You can always scout them and mark them now though.

I'd rather do it between Jan-Mar....it'd be a heck of alot cooler. Somethin made me think yall did it in the summer cuz with the sap up it makes it easier to take the bark off? Least I thought pappy said he was gonna harvest some hickory this summer. It different for osage? and if yall are gonna cut some I'll just take off work and come up there so I can get that hands on experience.haha thanks for tha help and let me know what yall think!

No problem with the pile,as long as you come back and clean it up. :) :) and I don't have to.
Friday again,spent all day yesterday at the doc.'s so didn't get much done.I plan on heading down
as soon as I get off and start setting the other 2 ranges.We have a lot planed to do over the weekend. Only one more weekend to get ready for the IBO shoot. I am getting calls from all
over this great Country of ours,from the west coast to the east ,North and South so should meet a lot of new folks,might even get some of them interested in what we do. :) Mostly Traditional/glass
folks but when they see this stuff going up up close it usually ant hard to change there minds,at least that's my plan. :) :) Hope yall have a big 4TH.See yall Monday. Life is good. :) :)

 Pappy;

 Yall have fun. I was supposed to meet Jesse in Albany but he called and said it was a bust. I'm sitting up waiting for him to head to Florida. I'll have that Ridgerunner swimming with gators and cottonmouths in the morning. ;) We'll get some Coral instead.

Me and the boys spent the night with Pappy Friday night. The farm is looking like a gem.  We pulled out about noon today. Here is our weekend in pictures.
