Mark when are you planning on being at the Cabin?  They are calling for ice here Friday Morning that could hamper travel plans.

Pappy pretty sure I'm taking off tomorrow and heading out early. I'll call you from the road. Or if I can't get off I'll post in the morning.

Cool Bear, see ya when you get here. Josh they are coming in Friday evening and set up and we will probably have a little demo on splitting a log and laying out a bow, then they will pick their staves and start work on them Saturday morning and leave Sunday morning. Love to have you. It's Friday for me and I am so glad. I am headed to the cabin when I get off to finish up a few things. Hope the scouts appreciate this, :-\ I have been in the shop every evening this week trying to get the staves prepaired and ready so they should have a good chance of getting a bow shooting this weekend. Put 3 more on the form yesterday and worked down
4 handles,I like about 6 more and plan on doing that today and tonight. :) It's a big job trying to get 15 staves in shape so 11-15 year old can make a bow in a day and a 1/2.Thanks to all that helped in getting this done. :) It should be a good weekend. I will have some pictures of the fun on Monday. Hope yall have a good one.  :) Life is Good. :)

You sure deserve it Pappy.  Have a great time, and if you see Ron tell him I said hello and to the rest of the gang.

Way to pass on the tradition, Pappy.  I can only image what I handful the scouts are.  I'm looking forward to seeing the photos come Monday.

Good times at the club as usual! Thanks to everyone especially the scouts. Appreciate the stick Will, learning the art of ring chasing all over again!

It was a great great weekend, all the guys in the club stepped up and went as smoother than I could have imagined. 22 bows built,21 scouts and 1 dad. Only broke one and we got him fixed up with another and caught back up in a hurry. :) :) Also had a little time for ourselfs in the evenings.Good food, thank BigA /GregB and Chuck for the meals. I think we had 10 or 11 club members there to help and Gary/Bear and Josh came in to lend a hand,it was much appreciated.
Here are some pictures of the fun. :) Working on a few of our projects and getting things set up and ready for the boys on Friday.
