You are welcome Bob, hope you are feeling better, think of you often. Headed for the farm this morning for my last hike with the heavy pack, then I can empty it and refill with the gear I need to take up the mountain, hope I can get it to 40/45 lbs, we will see. :-\ Beau told me I had done enough with the heavy pack and to just get some rest and let the body recoup , so will only be doing the light pack until we leave, glad to be done with the big one. ??? ;) :) been a tough year with the heat trying to get ready.  :)

Looks like another good weekend Pappy

Good luck with your hunt and enjoy it.

It’s funny how dogs pickup o tiny little things and know something is up.

Our dog can definitely tell when something is going to happen. She is happy if she can come along and sad if she has to stay behind. She is nervous until she figures out which .

Morning, Pappy!  Always fun to see a kid who is fascinated by bones, antlers, and cool rocks.   ;)  Good luck on the upcoming hunt.

Another great weekend, very busy but it cooled down a bit so that helped, I spent most of Friday shooting and making sure my bows and arrows were ready for out west and cleaning and working on my trailer, then loaded it Saturday morning, had to head to the house mid day Saturday to spend the rest of the weekend with Miss Joanie,52 anniversary  ;) :) had a great time with just me and her. My 3 bows ready for the hunt and 3 sets of arrows with side quiver for each bow. The big knife and neck knife are a gift for Griff our buddy we are meeting out there. :) The big one is made from 1095 plate steel with camel bone handles and the neck knife is a small USA made file with deer leg bone handle, I hope he likes them.  :) Stands are from stuff around the farm, wood and antlers. :)

The trailer had some sheet metal problems from all the rough wash boarded gravel road it's been on out west so Brandon and I put some strips of sheet metal on the seams and re screwed everything, think I am good now. :-\ I thought the roads were bad in Tennessee but they won't hold a light to the ones out west, especially Colorado  ??? :) :) I will bring it home tomorrow to finish loading/check and air tires and pack wheel bearings then should be good for the trip. :) Hope yall had a good one also, leaving Saturday so see ya in about 2 weeks Good Lord willing.  :) Life is Good. ;)

Getting closer. Good luck and safe travels Pappy.

I was trimming shooting lanes and getting stands and hunting spots in shape this weekend to. Just a little of a month for opening day.

Hope Shawn’s shoulder heals quickly.
