Gorgeous. The painting pattern is very nicely done. I would say that my favorite attribute is how the bow is very exotically painted, and somehow at the same time, pretty well camouflaged too! Very nice. I'm drooling.

How did you get your glue joints so seemless?  Like that truly is amazing work because I'm trying to same thing right now and I'm embarassed of my work after looking at yours ha.  What did you use to glue your joints together and to glue the horn down?  Thanks and please keep us posted on the progress, it truly is beautiful James.

thanks everyone,,, here is the unbraced pics,,, here is the ansewers to your ?s,,  the egg binder and cactus water proofer is not my idea,,i read some old books that had the info on their uses.

the horn was glued on with sturgeon glue,and was butted at the center of the handel

i have several more composite bows that are near finished,ill post them when done

I can't wait to see how the ones on the first page of your thread turn out. Everything looks very clean. Have you ever made a bow with siyahs as pronounced as the ones on the first page?

James, that plains style bow is awesome...looks like it is bent almost double and great tiller.  The painting on this one is awesome...very inspiring.
