Last year I cut some wild plum. When I got home I debarked it and tommorow- it was full of deep cracks, all to the center of the stave. I placed it in my junk wood. Few months ago I saw it again and deicided to try to make something of it, ignoring cracks, checks. It was reflex sapling, little over 2" reflex, not centered with different limbs. Finished bow hold half of inch reflex (I am not brave enough to heat treat it one more time to get more reflex with this shape). It was finished at 53#, after heat treatment it was about 65# so I had to retiler it. Now it is 60# at 28,5 " (about 50 little knots in total, both back and belly). Brace height is 6". It is 65" ntn, 535 grams physical weight. Wide 33mm at hick 22 mm at handle, about half of inch at nocks. Tricky to tiller because its twisting, finaly when done it is centershot.
