Answer....Making a selfbow for a friend and they shoot the buck of their dreams..

I received a phone call Friday 11-11-11 from my friend Bob. When I seen his name pop up on my phone, I new it was going to be good news. I answered to a very excited ..."I did it ...I did it....I did it. He proceeded to tell me the story... He turned this buck from a distance with a grunt call. As you all know this time of the year....they have one thing on there mind...and it's not making selfbows like us....lol. Bob was very surprised when this buck turned towards him and was coming on a string. He told me, he thought to himself, " that buck will never cross that fence". Well sure enough it did cross that fence and still coming on a string. He then thought...."Holy Crap"... I'm going to get a shot and he did. The buck came 15 yards broadside and Bob sent a old bear arrow thru both lungs. It went about a 100 yards and he watched it drop in sight. This was Bob's first year hunting with a selfbow.... incredible!!!!! Mr Mcquistion is a very very Dedicated Hunter....and when he says he's going to do something...Damn it....he does!!!! Congratulations Mac Daddy!!! You Didn't just make your year....you made mine....

I forgot to add.... and I think it's very ironic. Bob's buck was a eleven point with a 18" outside spread....Talk about the lucky number 11.....

Wow!!!! Jon That buck looks even better on a big screen( My cell didn't do it justice) I knew that bow was a real killer when I shot it at the PIFA shoot in Erie, and it wasn't even finished. Tell BOB Congrats and I hope to meet him in the future! Great job to both of you!!!
