It's just not working out for me to head that way tomorrow, Thursday.  I'll be there around noon-ish on Friday.

I'm heading down tomorrow evening.  I was looking @ the map and reading the directions from Nashville.  I modifies this post.  I looked @ a map site and it looks best to skim Nashville and get on 24W.  I hope to be leaving work early tomorrow, 6ish.  If all goes well I should be there about 1:00am Friday morning.   ;D dpg

If I leave here tomorrow around 2 or 3 I might make it by 10 and set up a tent for Thursday night.  What is the process do I need to pay someone or take care of it in the morning?

Someone will be up when you get there.  ;) You can settle up in the morning when the office is open. If you sign up to shoot you camp free.

I should be there around noon tomorrow also.  I've been trying to get to sleep for an hour but just can't.  I'd leave right now but it would stir up a hornets nest with the wife  >:D

Pat, I've got some goodies for you  ;)
I started out with nothin' and I still got most of it left

Have a pyrometer sand and untreated Burlington.  I was wondering if any would interested in doing a heat treating experiment at twinoaks with me.  What we could learn would be how heat is transfered to the stone and at what rate and what temps are possible based on how the fire is maintained? Also how to maintain a temp once the target temp was reached.

John, I think the big question is how to maintain the temp when the beer is breached!! :P

Fair warning !  I'm on my way. I should get there Friday morning. I'm excited to get the chance to meet as many of you as I can, but equally dreading  the chance for all of you to see how poor of a shot I am.  I'm  hoping to prevail upon somebody's generosity  for the use of there grill as I can only carry so much gear in my big truck and a grill is out of the question.  I look forward to a very enjoyable time.  If you see a red Peterbilt, its probably me .  Please stop by and visit.  Josh
