Yes nice start Thad don't feel bad I have yet to make one of these points. I always break the base when adding the serrations :( I broke one yesterday lol that's why I chose this point it's a hard point to make at least for me it is

Ya i stalled in the notch and the serrations plus broke the tip...but this is the closest i have come to what i am trying to do without compleat destruction ...cheated a bit and touched it up with Copper  ::)

Its similar to the Revilla point. The Revilla has no notches & is not serrated inside the base. It has a very skinny blade.  Tower

That new point type looks fun! ;D  I finally got my computer fixed today and thought Id post my first attempts at a Dalton from last month...Ill try and knock out a couple of this months type this weekend.

@ bone pile the point are actual size in the book so size them from my hand that's why I added my hand in the pic
And @ bubby that point is close take the notches out on the sides  and the serrations in the inside notch and keep the ones on the outer base and you have it :)

Well here's my try. It's Texas rock, an inch and three quarters long. If the serrations were any smaller I'd need three hands, the third to hold a magnifying glass.
