I'll try to turn one out. So far I have been making arrowheads with general shapes of "authentic" ones and have not made many efforts at replicating the flake patterns. This time I'll try to make the same flake pattern as seen on a point illustrated in Story in Stone by DC Waldorf. We will see whether I get it right.

Fun Fun, recently was in Kona and saw some really nice obsidian blades hafted up in antler. Its been awhile since I made a knife, should be interesting!

Took today and went out in the woods, debated between breaking some rock or hunting some squirrels, decided to try and make a hardin. This was my first true attempt at making one, and one of the few times I sat down with a particular rock and knew what I wanted before I even hit it.

you are approaching Woody Blackwell levels  of skill. My hats off to you Ghost knapper, whoever you are.

nice!  Like the lines, handle is a good match for the blade.
Ive got two blades done but waiting for some banded slat to arrive in the mail to use for handles.
