Here's the money shots of the finished bow. After sanding finishing etc it's just about 56# now so I'm gonna have to see if that's enough.

last pics fellas. Really appreciate he nice comments and hope maybe the bow will be worthy of a guy of gun doc's place in things.

Is the straight side of the bow tapered from the grip to the tips or is it straight, its kind of hard to tell in the pictures?  It is a beautiful bow by the way, all of your bows are truly works of art.

Well thank you for the nice comments, just hope it kills some venison for gun doc.....that's whats important to me.....

Autologus, The center 1/3 of the bow is parallel and then the limbs taper to 3/4" knocks....both sides have the same taper, the scallops are about 1/8" deep and I think that makes the centerline of the bow "look" like it does.....but both sides are symetrical.
