SUUPPER smart idea using the tape! I always make all kinds of complicated measurements and all that, you way is 1000 times better. Thank you for sharing this!

Is sharkskin stretchy when wet?  This technique would really come in very handy when you have a nonstretchy material and need to get it right the first time!

Yes Sir,

I've used this method twice now, on bulbous handled bows.
And even though it looks weird when you lay it out flat, it has worked like a champ.
