Looking for Natural Forks
« on: November 11, 2013, 01:09:38 am »
Anyone have natural forks good for slingshots? Preferably pre-dried but they can be sealed. Osage would be really nice, but I'll take anything not split. I have a few things to trade, just pm me what you're looking for and I may have it.

I always used maple and dogwood as a youngster.  Hard to find the perfect one. Good luck!

How many you need?  Like 100?

Not nearly that many (although it would be pretty cool), I'm looking for maybe 10 max or so, to keep me busy for a while. Even 3-4 is good enough.

If no one else responds, I'll visit some local tree-trimmer trash piles and get some for ya.   :)

Nope, nothing in particular.  We can trade for whatever you want to send.  If I go and cut some forks for you, I'll also pick up some knife handle material and such while I'm there... so it benefits me too.   :)

I have got a couple really nice yew slingshot blanks, cut just over a month ago.  I was after bow wood, but I couldn't let these sweet slingshot forks stay in the woods.  What have you for trade sir?
