I'm currently residing in Stirling, Ontario - raised not far from Young Bowyer on Hwy 507, 1/2 mile from Curve Lake turn. I have been dabbling into the primitive archery scene a few times but have not been successful in building my own yet ( broke three so far ). I'm now an old codger and am determined to build one before this year is out. While I am still using my traditional longbows, at least I have become a convert to bamboo and cane arrows, making my own. They truly are nature's carbon. Amyway, thanks for allowing me in to the site.

If they let grouchy ol' dumb Norwegians like me in here, they'll take anybody.  Welcome to the Forum.

Why do you think they went to the moon?  Poor sods wanted to move somewhere where they had chance of getting rain!!!      8)

I'm from a 75 acre patch of osage trees in the southeastern corner of Indiana.  The closest town is Rising Sun.
I started out with nothin' and I still got most of it left

I hear Mr. Halverson...

If I hadn't thought it would cause a dangerous demand for, and there by shortage of, white canes and service dogs for the blind, I would'a done my ancestral blue painted necked rain dance.

And so the Texas/Houston drought continues nearly unabated, much to the relief of my neighbors.

Dang Gus, I had a visual of that!  :o  :P I'm thinking that might have caused a flash flood.  So the neighbors would be after you for that also, not just payment for the seeing eye dogs, but for therapy for their kids, as well. ::)
