Alberta, Canada's redneck capital so they say. We have all the greatest serviceberry and chokecherry you could ever want. The chokecherry is too knarly unless you like those 45 inch native style bows.

Doug from South Australia... the nations hardwood desert ;-)  Returning to bowmaking after some small success and many spectacular failures a decade or so ago...

Thanks Kevin!

Lots of European Ash matchsticks! A few light European Ash bows. I don't know if it's just Ash or my dry climate but damn those things break easier than I expected, lol.

About to embark on a boo-backed Spotted Gum pyramid-style flatbow. There will be photos of that :-)

And hunting... We'll see how that goes I guess. I have a feeling there's bunnies and maybe some venison in my future...
