I started this one out with a piece of sycamore.



Then, well, I made some progress.



Then I made a little more progress.



Then a little more, a third face on the back side of the stick.  I haven't figured out what he will be, but I am thinking maybe a mountain man.



Front side.  In the top wil be a ball that will rattle around some while the person is walking, in case he is hiking in bear country.

I've collected almost everything I needed to complete my Christmas Trade gift except for a few screws. I'll start putting it all together soon.  ;)

What do you guys think? It still needs handle scales but I've got some osage off-cuts that I could cut up for that.

Depends on what you want for them. I don't have a lot to trade. What I really need are some brass pins to attach them with.
