really nice, do you know about the weight of the sinew you applied ,, grains???? I love the nocks,, dont think the string could pull off even if the tips were not flipped

since I prepare my bow backs with oven cleaner spray, I have no problems.
I assume the sinew popped of in one layer, soak it for a day in water and apply it again in one piece. I've done that recently on the little plains bow I've posted a while ago. Good luck on your project.

Two layers (520 + 450grain) measured is the shredded dry stuff. made a little sketch for you below, Flipped tips: I hope to get two inches more draw out of this bow when shot in, then it will make more sense.

Very nice bow indeed. It's always a pleasure to look at your bows you display very good woodsmanship and you can work in every  aspect of bows, wether it's primitive, modern, fast, long, short ,etc...    doesn't matter, they are always one of the best,
and that makes looking at your Bows always a pleasure!

absolutely outstanding! You did a very good job on this brother! I have read many books my mother is Native American I showed her and she was very very impressed you nailed this congratulations this may be one of the most beautiful Native American style bugz that I have ever seen in my life

Amazing craftmanship. Makes my bows look like a monkey with a bad hair day made 'em  ;D

How thick is the bow in cross-section at its thickest point (apart from the handle)?

meanwhile I have shot in that stick, did make some tiller adjustments at the sides and squeezed out a good more inches of drawlength. also painted the sides in a dark blue ........ I will take some pics when the weather gets better!
