that's why we do it though right? If it was easy we would get bored. I think that kink in the handle would be the trickiest part. I am almost done with a Osage bow that I took 2 months just looking at to try and figure how to lay it out with the checks in it.

I'm with Jeff at the moment. Option #1 is a bit past floor tiller and has recurves, but I don't want to bend it too much until it loses a bit more moisture.

I'm not any further but I got the recurve about finished. So I'm closer to getting more done on the trade bow. It just needs the finish put on and a few final details then I'll be back to the trade bow. In 90 percent humidity it takes forever for tru oil to dry. I'm wishing I would have used the  beeswax deer tallow mix.

Well I've been getting frustrated with my scraper. So I went and found my original one and put a new burr on it, that sucker is great now. Took some digging. I really gotta clean. The takedown is floor Tillered. Need to make a tillering string. The Osage I'm making myself is taking forever to cut the profile. Trying to get it near floor tiller then gonna do some reflexing. It's got a natural r/d profile. Just gonna accentuate the tips and try and take some of this mid limb twist. If it twists and comes back at the tips, do I need to remove it still?
