DANG IT, I haven't been home all afternoon. And won't be for a while! Patrick

Sanding. I got it to a straight profile but the grip took some cosmetic cracks, nothing to worry about as the handle hasn't taken set since giving it deflex. Bocote tips are about as thin as I like. I've got some rawhide cordage I want to put under the osage-stained leather. Made a black, white and single stand of purple string that's kind of hard to keep upside right as the bow is very asymmetrical ::)

I'll get pics soon enough  >:D

Applying tru-oil. Not all of the cracks from early life are gone but it's all holding together and shooting beautifully :) Once I'm over 200 shots (~120 right now) I'll put it through the chrono a few times and I'll get its mass before putting the rawhide and leather on.

60+ shots through.  I think I am about ready to call it a bow.  I have some more work to do on the handle, including adding a shelf, some more shooting, and then it will be time for the hair and makeup. So far only minimal set, and that in the right places in the mid limb Here are a couple of teasers.
