I'm still in the game.  The bow I posted back on page 10 is all done and shoots great.  And I'm not using it in the trade. 
I had to redo the handle lam.  I took the osage off, used a different wood and different glue and had to sinew wrap in 5 places to hide little pin knot cracks on the edge of the limbs.  I stained the whole thing and its rather ancient looking now, literally.  Its actually gonna be a great bow and looks decent but its just not what I want for my recipient.
I have a plan B with sinew curing and if that doesn't work then plan C is roughed out and drying.........

I just had an Ah ha! moment most of you may call a no duh moment.  I just realized the trade bow I am building is going to a very different climate than where I am and as a result may fail or not perform as well. I need to rebuild.

Finally able to get a little more done. Did some straightening and aligning. It's not perfect yet but a lot closer than it was. One limb has a good kink from a knot that I'm not trying to get perfect I just want to get it on a similar plane as the other. on the belly side the wood fibers are running in directions I was afraid would break apart of I tried bending it so I bent the limb past the knot. The kink was heated again this morning and I'll take the clamps off when I get off wrk. Between the kink and tip/handle alignment I got it close enough to get a long string on and I can fine tune the corrections as I get it bending more.

Totally dig the vine handle wrap. Whats the final stats on that one? It has the perfect amount of reflex on the tips. Nice bow sir!

Thanks guys! Final stats are 52#@28. 67", 2" at the fades.   I made it a bit longer because its gonna have to deal with some humidity....  Thats just a  rattan wrap on the handle. A vine or spruce root wrap would be sweet,  just need to make sure its not a poison ivy vine. :)
