I shipped mine in a pvc tube all wrapped up.
 And the tiller on the bow Kelly g needs alot of work. It is not moving much at all towards the grip.

@kellyg....that piece of wood shouldnt even be braced yet alone pulling it to full draw...your right limb has two obvious hinges..its unbalanced between the two limbs...and not bending enough in the inner limbs. You broke the biggest rule of bow building imho.

I would have to agree with the other gentlemens' suggestions on the tiller there.

I suspect you may not make weight unless you are very careful here.
Definately needs to bend more out of both fades, hinge(s) in right limb look to need help as well.

I would go back to a very low brace to correct those things, then slowly work your way back up.

Is it: pull it only far enough to see where you need to remove wood to get the limbs bending evenly?

Yep, the golden rule Kelly! But I seen some of your bows last year at mojam, they are awesome!

Mine is getting the last two coats of Tru oil today. Then a handle wrap tomorrow after work. I've put  346 arrows through it and now I don't want to ship it off. But I promised I would send out the best bow I could make and this is the best one to date. It's also bow number 30 for me. Kind of a milestone if you will. I've met a lot of goals with this bow and a lot of first as well. I hope my victim makes blood with this one this fall. If he don't, it's not because the bow didn't do its job!  >:D  I should be shipping it on Saturday if everything goes as planned. Patrick

Bow is shooting good but the black dye won't stop rubbing off on everything.  URRRRGG!  Gonna steel wool it.

Steel wool solved the dye problem.  Its now rustic rather than jet black.  Re-stitch the grip and ship friday.

Had my shooting today. She shoots fast and hard and straight.   Pretty much done tillering it.  Going to put on some overlays and get a finish on it.  61"
