I like the bow, and I've been wondering lately about side nocks.  Is there a purpose for the side nocks besides the coolness factor?  Such as does it let you make more narrow limb tips?  Do you put top and bottom nocks on the same side of the bow or opposite?

Michael

Typically they are placed on opposite sides to align the string.  Side nocks are easier to make and don't require fancy glues.  I believe that it is easier to string a bow with side nocks and they are more durable.  There is a reason why this style of bow is the standard for Eastern tribal culture.
