Infront of several witnesses,  I hit 200 fps 320 gr, 50#@26. I think if I did it with the bow fresh I could go over that.

  Thats pretty good for a 26" draw. It would likely project out to about 172 with a 500 grain arrow or close to that.

 Sleek, maybe about 177 if the bow didn't break down anymore but it most likely would, my quess would be you might net about 174 which is very good.

This thread is old I know... But I wanted to post an observation. That stave Pat gave me was 75 years old. It's been 8 years since I made that bow, and a few years since I shot it last. I strung it up today and the scale showed it pulling 40 pounds at 20. If I calculate that out, it's 58 pounds at 26 right now, when it used to be 50@28. It's gained 8 pounds, on a stave that was 75 years old in 2015. I suppose osage never stops curing.
