I just don't see how they are ugly but then I would wear clothes that looked like those arrows if it wasn't for my wife.  I am slightly color challenged.

Nice looking arrows.
How many feathers do you put on yours?

I use three 4" un-chopped feathers Rob. It slows them down, but very little. More than anything they are easier to find and a 30" 50-55 will fly from a 40# bow as good as a 50# bow.
Only when the last tree has died and the last river has been poisoned and the last fish has been caught will we realize we cannot eat money.

I put hot pink on for feathers Chris.Hav'nt lost them yet....lol.Show you a picture of these brutes.Dogwood a little longer to account for bulbous end with spent 20 gauge brass ends.Close to 800 grains apiece.Think they could possibly knock things out a little larger than rabbits out with impact.......but like it's been said many a time it don't hurt to over build.....lol.Sorry for bogaarding in with pics on your thread.

Damn, I like those dogwood shafts. I bet they fly real nice, right?.  I should try dogwood since I like heavy arrows...
I think I'd do pretty well in the ugly arrow contest :D

You bet they fly good.On the right poundage bow of course. They're 60 to 65 spine on my home made accurate spiner, but because they're a little longer the spine is a little less. What is it 1" longer reduces 5# of spine.I thought people we're going to show their ugly arrows....?

I will simply refer people to ANY arrow I have ever made!

With Spartan green feathers, they should get the job done. Nice job Chris.

I'll have to remember this Tip; make ugly arrows so I don't have to go in the Briars looking for them. You did good, Pearly Boy.

Seems ya shoulda taken some of those Spartan-fletched missiles down to Dallas and distracted those Tide players!
