Holy Shizzles!  With the busy hunting season, I just now noticed this post.  I better get busy...  I'm in!

I've made tiny bows as gifts for newborns, and such.  They are very fast and I would never consider being on the receiving end of one of them.  Made one for James Parker's young-un that would easily pass thru a cardboard box with bamboo skewers.  This is gonna be fun!  Good idea, Hawkster!

Thanks Guy!  I'm sure one of the Chris's will have three or four bows built before Marshall you could probably shoot if things don't get under control..... :) ;).
Be good to see you again....

Hey Bad Chris....Specs Hummmmm well......it's not a perfect tiller
Osage with horn tip overlays
Sinew - not much, very thin layer.
Deflex through the fades with about 4" of reflex at the tips.
6.25" brace height
4" handle
1.5" fades
1.75" wide at the fades, straight taper to .375 at the tips.(not Blackhawk tips)
60# @ 28"
64.5" ntn

Of course this is all x 36.3636%  >:D

And the arrow information will have to wait a while...... :-\
Till next time,
DBar

Your math looks a little fuzzy to me Bill  ;D

Glad to see you are joining the party Matt.

I roughed out a few more bows today out of some really old osage and some ocean spray.  I got my first bow thinned to roughly 1/4" thick and ready for sinew.
I started out with nothin' and I still got most of it left

I dug threw the scrap bin and found a belly cut of maple from a pyramid bow a little under 1/4" thick, cut it down 24" ttt one inch wide middle ten and taper to half inch tips. Gonna recurve the tips some and get ready to sinew

My thoughts as well, good times indeed!
Only when the last tree has died and the last river has been poisoned and the last fish has been caught will we realize we cannot eat money.
