I'm getting ready to size the back of my bow.  Tomorrow night I'll skin it.
I started out with nothin' and I still got most of it left

Yes DBar, It does shoot!  Shot a dozen or so from it on Sunday.  Started making arrows and ordered some leather for the backing.

I cut some small diameter hill cane that I'm bringing to the Classic for you guys. Some of this should make good arrows for the mini bows. I've got about 50 pieces so far and will try to get more before then. The light colored cane on top is a normal sized arrow cane.

That's what they are for Clint. Anyone with one of the mini bows is welcome to share these.

Thanks, Pat!

I just glued a mini skin on my mini bow.

Guy, do we have any place to shoot for distance?

I added some sinew in the mid on my bow and wrapped the "handle" section. It will be finished in plenty of time
failure is an option, everyone fails, it's how you handle it that matters.

I cleaned up some horn for tip reinforcements and rec'd some real thin leather for the covering on the back.  Hope to get those both glued and ready for paint & finishing.  Got started on some arrows, too.  Coming together but, running out of time.

Got the super thin leather backing glued on, covering the sinew.  Now time to decorate and apply finish.
