It's about 1/2" thick throughout the working limb.  Starts at 2" wide at the handle fade, then tapers to 3/4" at 13" from the tip, then tapers to 1/2" at 8" from the tip (with a fade that goes from 10" to 8" from the tip for the lever portion) and remains 1/2" to the tip.

I just got really worried. I've was doing some steam straightening last week and today was doing some exercising of the limbs and then I see this. I've never seen crysals, Is this it?

For anyone interested in all the pics,  here is a photobucket slideshow of the two bows I made for this trade.  Edited versions now have their own topic started, because I finally feel like I have something I can enter in the bow of the month contest.  enjoy.  If this breaks the no direct links rule, let me know and I will pull the link off

Not the best pic but they do appear to be cryshals

The pattern in the lower picture is over a large portion of one limb and the dark lines in the upper picture is only visible in a glare. I can't feel anything running my nail over it.

We got a shooting bow folks.  Pulled to 29 inches.  It's a little under my target weight, but I'm going to fix that by piking it just a little and heat treating the belly.  Once I'm done with that, I will start with the finishing.  Shoots good, right limb looks a bit funky but I didnt' take pics of the dog leg, I will post some more later.  That stave has a lot of twists and turns, and the handle has some weird reflex/deflex unevenness, so tillering was a bit difficult for me.

Here are a couple other pics I had on my PC showing the dog leg and the limb twist on that funky limb.  It also has different reflex on one side of the handle than the other - overall a pretty challenging stave for me.  I will get some better pictures of all the character tonight hope.
