Stuck is that carving on the belly or back. I can't remember seeing a pic of the whole bow. But either way that's some fine craftsmanship

Thanks Gutshot, the carving is the hand-grip so is on the belly (facing the archer). I once missed a tiny scratch in the back of a yew bow and it lifted a splinter a soon as I drew it so I think this means that any attempt at carving the back will lead to a catastrophic failure? You didn't miss a full-bow photo as I haven't taken it yet ;)

OK, here you go:

Yep, someone WILL have a bow today. Isn't out for delivery yet, but the "Sorting was conplete" as of about 10 minutes ago.

To the guy getting mine, there is a piece of paper folded up and taped to the bow that you should probably read. ;)

I received my bow yesterday from Kid Bow. Nice bend in the handle bow but because of injuries and an inappropriate stringer for the tip design I can't get it strung  I'm going to have to figure something out or get another type stringer as it's too heavy for this old worn out man.  I'll get pics up as soon as I am able.

I'll also try to get a list together of those who haven't received a bow yet. Not many remaining unshipped and I know the status on all but two.
I found many years ago that it is much easier and more rewarding working with those that don't know anything than those that know it all.

sorry about that fred I'm used to using the push pull method of stringing my bows. hopefully its nothing to heavy. also did you get the note?
i need nothing but my old bow and arrows.

I've been super busy with work and  some projects at home....but I will have to make some time to get my new bow shot in!  Thank you Mr. Ewing!  I wish I still had my first bow for comparison...but I know for a fact it wasn't this nice.  From the inlay at the arrow pass...to the gorgeous "redneck" baseball stitch on the handle wrap...the leather being perfectly fit...this bow was extremely well made.

I have a full schedule every night for the rest of the week but I will find time to get some pictures up.  Thank again David...this bow will see some time in the woods this fall for sure!

I'm glad you like it so far! Hopefully once you shoot it you'll still like it. Lol. Seemed to shoot good for me, but I'm not all that great with these bows.
