Your bow looks pretty good Pat.Your underlay glue line should lock in your recurve.

Hooks look good, Pat. You've added another bending technique to your toolkit!

Bows are looking good guys. I will be at pappys that weekend. Love to make Mojam though. Maybe next year. Arvin

Arvin - You should load up Pappy and bring him with you to MOJAM:)  He needs to visit as well!

Patrick - Those curved ends look real nice on that Hickory bow.  The Walnut underlays will give it some serious Eye Candy points in addition to stiffening up the curves!

Thanks guy's,  I've never done this type of tips before. Do you think brush knocks would be in order if the string touches the belly to much?

String bridges might be needed.

Pat if the string doesn't lift off at 3/4 draw your hooks are not doing you much good.

From what I see it looks like the string will just barely kiss the belly at brace.
Tread softly and carry a bent stick.

Thanks guy's,  I guess I will find out as soon as I can get some more work done on it. I hope to have a good bend on it this weekend. I got one more little spot that is bothering me in one limb. But I think I can straighten it out pretty easy.

Got a sap wood backed osage to a good floor tiller and reflex heated in and blood wood tip overlays put on. Let it sit a few days and begin tillering . Has some snake to it also. If I could post pictures I would . I did post some on facebook
