Where I live osage posts are the norm.When green of course the nails will go in,but still a stout staple is needed.Like you said earlier.10 year old ones though need to be predrilled if that's what a person wants.Fixing old fence here using ty wire is the quickest.Cool use of your poles if your blessed with osage around you like that.I might have left a few limbs on to hang things from though.
Drilling large holes through these corner and gate posts are always fun....lol.

I'd say Scott you got a few months before the wood gets too hard to put nails in.Before that you'll have them up I'm sure.They'll look pretty darn nice incorporated into your shed.

This morning I got the holes drilled and posts set with the help of the neighbors tractor. (God bless that man!) Then got busy tamping them in place and got a few boards hung before running out of time.

Several other projects are waiting for my attention, so I'm trying to hurry and get metal on. If I can get it in the dry before the summer heat I will feel like the victor. We'll see what this weekend holds.
