Very nice Pearl. That looks a lot like the profile of the one you text me pictures of a couple months back. See you both soon my friend not really looking like a early spring anymore but who knows.

Cool bow!. Looks like a very smooth shooter. And use of sap/hart wood is really a eye catcher.

I do have 1 question. You have circles centered on midline of limbs. Is this to determine limb width during rough  out  or to help with splicing? I looked a build along and don't remember seeing a reason. Maybe I missed it. Just wondering. Thanks Mike

I find the natural center of each stave. Then use the circles to get perfect width tapers. I have a circle template that goes from 1/4" - 2". Once the circles are traced on I connect TDC of each to make for a perfect width layout.

wow that is a beauty! Love the rd profile. Must be fast AND smooth! A rd selfbow is on my list and just looking at this one moved it up a few places!
