Tinkering at the forge
« on: July 13, 2018, 08:29:02 pm »
I was tinkering today, I saw some horseshoe nail bracelets and wanted to give it a try but no nails, so I grabbed some 1/4" roundstock and started heating and hitting. Had to make a thin rectangle. Drew it out and where I needed the head I heated and hotcut the steel leaving it flared on one side. Close enough for me. After it was drawn out I just used my torch for all the bends

Nailed it!
Guns have triggers. Bicycles have wheels. Trees and bows have wooden limbs.
