Thanks everyone, the blade I knapped from something I got from Frank at Marshall. I'm not sure what it is. Maybe fiber optic glass? He said it was from Russia if I remember correctly. I made the mistake of bringing it home and showing my wife. She really likes it. Thinks it the nicest I've ever made and doesn't want me to give it away. Oh well you know what they say. You should always give something you'd like to get. I should be able to get it shipped out next week.

Came home to a package from Eric AK Burton Rider. Set me some pretty cool shoot shaft arrows made from dogwood. I have a couple long weekend's coming up and plan on shooting around. thank you Eric did a real nice job on them!

You bet! Hope they hold up some abuse, the dogwood is growing on me... Seems to hold up a lot better than some of my other shafts.

Glad to like them.   (AT)

I've just got a bit of finishing off to do so I should be shipping tomorrow or Saturday with any luck. My victim's going to need his thinking cap for my gift, so I hope he's up to the challenge.  I've taken a few pic's that i'll post after he's had a chance to open it fully....   >:D

Also I'm going away next week so if I'm your victim and you haven't already shipped you might want to hold off a bit.

Thought while I was posting pictures, I would show what I sent to Yosemite Ben--now that he has it.  Dogwood shafts,  matched to spine and weight.  spliced fletches.  6 arrows for shooting, one for show or shooting.

Those are really nice Jeff. I can see the time and love you put into those, even from my small screen on my phone.
