I finished up a quiver today.  Hopefully I will get everything else packaged up this weekend and ship next week.  This quiver is made from a whitetail i shot a few years ago but I didn't tan it myself.  I had a local tannery do it.  I haven't learned that skill yet.

Very nice presents everyone. I was almost done with my knife blade when I snapped it in two. Starting again. I didn't like that one anyway. probably why it snapped.

Burtonrider,
Nice arrows!  Most of my "stuff" is raw materials, except for some hand made items, some things old, some things new, some things natural, some wrapped with blue!  My victim gets to post the pictures, I forgot to take any!  I ship tomorrow!   Nollag Shona, everyone, Agus,  Athblain faoise mhaise duit!  Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Starting to look more like Christmas. I put up the tree. Got my present almost done. I'm hoping my victim likes it. Broke the first one. I like this one better anyway. It's still going to take me a couple days till I can ship but Santa should get it in sleigh on time.
Merry Christmas everyone.

PS maybe a picture of my White Cedar brush Christmas Tree from the old railroad bed will get that Christmas spirit flowing

Ho! Ho! Ho!  Bah! More darned turkey?!  I was going to throw in a Humbug, but they don't taste good >:D (lol) -C-!  May get some lights up, but then I'd worry about getting them down, and I stay off ladders lately!  Any way, I shipped today by slow snail, eta is 6 - 10 days out, so hopefully 21-22 Dec!
My victim gets to post pics!  Mostly raw materials, and a couple of hand mad items.

Well Santa's helpers finished up the PA Christmas trade present for my recipient. I wasn't sure if I was going to like it when the helper started it, but as it progressed along it started to grow on me. The Black Walnut they salvaged from a old pallet along with the small white tail Antler really worked nicely for a stand. The helpers markings (I think I've seen them somewhere before) really made it pop. I hope my recipient likes it to, or at least it grows on him.
Merry Christmas

That is a real nice piece!  What flavor rock is let?  I like the repurposed walnut, too!  I made myself a pistol stand out of roadkill oak dunnage years ago, only one metal screw holding the gate on, the rest is pinned with dowel rods and glue.  Still have some of the original boards to work.  That knife will. Look good in/on anyone's display case!
