Now, now, boys...I thought I brought this one back on topic!!

If there are any more posts in this thread NOT concerning feathers and their application to arrows, I am going to get peeved! More peeved than I already am! And you don't want to see me more peeved....

"Hell hath no fury..."

Well Missy,
Prepare to get more peeved.
Unless you have a Mod or Admin typed under your name,i dont see where you have any right to say that to anyone on this site.Put the Big chief act back in your pocket.Furthermore,i dont think Bob needs a history lesson, from a non NDN on NDN ways, regardless of who her Professor may be,or what nation he is registered with.Bobs a card carryin NDN too, with a family history, that would make your head spin.Osceola aint French ya know.As for the card carryin NDN,bein able to possess, raptor feathers, dont fool yourself. Those laws are up to interpretation, and the discretion of the officer,at the time.Ask a Ute partner of mine, about the time he was, fined and had his eagle feather confiscated at the Denver Rodeo, because he didnt have the proper "Permits"to possess it.

This is getting headed in a very political direction. Let's all take a deep breath and keep it on the subject at hand.

Traxx, I know where you are coming from and I've talked to Bob quite a bit. This is really starting to head down a dead end road and has been rehashed over and over again. It never get's resolved and always ends up in a bunch of boring name calling. I'm not trying to piss anybody off but Traxx, try to just chalk it up to somebody that's never experianced what you guy's did and believed one persons impressionable opinion. Let's try to get back to feathers? ???

If you have to pull the trigger, is it really archery?

I certainly have lots of Turkey feathers now thanks to Pappy and folks at the Twin Oaks Bowhunting Club (Tenn. Classic)

I use  Turkey, and Canada goose feathers. Stripped rather than ground, chopped or cut to shape rather than burned, glued and tied. Nothing fancy, just good steerage.

Gonna try some Blue-grouse primaries if I ever get another one LOL.
