I've heard of it. I've never tried it. After deer season I was going to play around with some different forms. I've heard of using a peep like you mentioned, but to keep it more traditional, just use a thread marker. Same thing without the need to keep the peep in the right direction.

I've heard of doing it, and I tried it some, but I could never find a consistent anchor spot. My biggest drawing/anchoring improvement came when I started really pressing my cheek fat enough so the bone in there contacted my knuckle bones...that and getting my bow arm shoulder under control.
