Del's mkii H Bow Update

(1/3) > >>

Del the cat:
This is the latest video of the mkii. Tuning is progressing well.
The big advantage of the H layout is the centre shot, which allows me to do test shots at just a few yards, where an ELB flight bow would be smashing arrows at that range due to the arrow flexing.
I've been videoing the whole build and maybe the most interesting spect is that the bow is from a single piece of Yew. Draw wieight about 45# @ 17"Bow length 38"
Still plenty of tuning and modification to be done.
Any comments or ideas are welcomed :)

Del,
I really enjoyed the video and how you created the shoot-through portion of the bow from a single piece of wood. It is a very unique piece of art you created!  I hope it works well for your arrow experiments.

very curious how it will shoot!
Nice work, we need more posts in this section :-)

I'm watching this regularly Del. That's a cool bow. Makes me want to break out the draw knife again.
