Wavy gravy osage bow
« on: October 07, 2023, 02:16:00 pm »
Have been scratchin away at this one all summer and finally buckled down and finished ‘er up. Nothin fancy just a simple selfbow. 65” ntn 45# @ 27”, simple buckskin wrap on handle and thats about it. Tillerin was a bit tricky what with the humps and bumps but I’m happy with it. It will definetly see some treestand time this season

Very nice bow, Stix.  And, the wavy gravy reference brings me back to 1969.  8)

I beg to differ. That bow is not simple, and has plenty of fancy to it. Beautiful, well done.

Agree with Hamish, plenty of beauty there. I can definitely see how it could be a tricky one to tiller.
Very nice work.

Nothing harder for me than wavy grain. Excellent job on that stick. Great looking bow!
