nice bow buck #3 so far this year
« on: October 11, 2008, 01:45:38 am »
i shot this guy tonight at 8 yards, double lunged him with my elm recurve, he ran 40 yards and piled.
i saw him last week but didnt get a shot, and actually missed him last night, he didnt offer me a good enough shot even though he was at the base of my tree stand, be he came back tonight and stood out 8 yards broadside. slam dunk. i guess i was supposed to have him huh?
no camo, no bait, no lure, just huntings trails   gonna be hard to top this one, especially in Florida.  thanks for looking- Ryan

thanks a lot guys, i appreciate the kind words.  great to shoot a nice deer with my selfmade gear. a saw a bigger one yet before i shot this guy, so i have something to look forward to hunting the rest of season. its a nice boost in moral.
im not above shooting a doe, but then i have to find someone to donate the meat to. im single and live alone so 3 deer goes a loong way.  - Ryan
