Great weekend, didn't get time to work on much but did manage to get a few things done. Jesse Shot a deer Saturday morning that turned into probably one of the longest tracks that I have been on that turned out good ,and I have been on a lot of long tracks over the years. That took up a big part of Saturday but that's
OK and part of bow hunting. I did get my Elk hide almost finished,just a little more drying and stretching and it should be ready to sew up a few holes and final smoke. Here are a few pictures of the weekend. It was very chilly for sure so the fire felt better than normal. :) :)

Jon made me some new arrows,I share feathers and shafting with him and he loves to make up arrows,good deal for both of us.Thanks Jon. We had some trees down on the range and needeed fire wood so that worked out good. Me doing a little hide work,I had planed on getting them scraped this weekend but things got in the way. ;) :) Woody with his new hat,man that thing is warm. :) :)

Beau and Jesse getting ready for Saturday morning hunt. Doing a little shooting Saturday mid morning,I needeed to finishing shooting in my Winged Elm bow,still shooting nice.I think it is ready for the woods. :)

My beaver hide ready for tanning. Tracking Jesse's deer,nice doe 85lbs.Very long track.He hit it a little forward but we staryed on it probably 4 hours and over a
mile and found it dead in a big thicket. My brother cam down to visit,he ant into this stuff but love to see us doing it,maybe someday. :) :)

Jesse boneing out his deer,Then Will doing a little picking and grinning for us Saturday night.Man that boy can sing. ;) :) :) Also I think we are finely getting him fixed up with arrows,He should have enough to get him by for a while. ;) ;D ;D

Hi Pappy, Jon called me tonight and said you asked him to say Hi for you. Sure do miss you guys, believe it or not we're sittin up here with no snow, in fact this week we may hit 40. Sure is good to see the pictures you post makes me feel like I'm there.

It's Friday and I am glad as usual.I plan to head to the cabin this evening and try and get in a little hunting before Christmas week,that will be busy.I had an older Lady friend [very close] she was 96 pass away Wednesday  :( :( ,not sure on the plans but may have to go to visit before I head down.I think Jon is coming down and Beau also to hunt in the morning.We also have a TwinOaks meeting Saturday at noon so it should be a full weekend. Hope ya ll have a good one.See ya Monday. :) :)
