Fitting a buff horn plug in my small horn and Bill starting on the big job of restocking the wood pile. We have a lot already cut up in the woods that need to be hauled down and split. :) Also making a hemp lanyard for my big horn. :)

Framing the kitchen. Jon showed up with some of what he has been doing while laid up from toe surgery. His new nick name is old 3 toe Jon. :) Pins and hook all fitted and sanded on my small horn. :)

That kitchen is going to be nice!  How much did you expand from the old one?
I started out with nothin' and I still got most of it left

We are expanding it 12 more feet in depth buy the full length so 12X26 added.  ;) it will be twice as big as it was. :) It is also going to be sealed /insulated and heated so it can stay open all winter for our use, we now close it down and water off in Mid to late Nov. and don't reopen until Mid March depending on the weather. :) Also adding a deep fryer and another double sink, a deep one that will hole our biggest pots to wash. :) We are adding several cabinets also so we can get everything thing up off the floor which will make things much easier to keep clean  and the mice out of stuff along with the added benefit of more room.  ;)

That sounds like its going to be a nice set up.  Having it open year round will be handy.

Another great weekend there pappy.  Those powder horns are sweet! What would a guy have to do to talk you out of one of them?
