Adam, first one I've done.  I love the looks of it and I mentioned in a post a week ago or so that I had never done one, so Pearl emailed the link too me.  I can speculate though, that it wont work loose.  It's looped on and tight as dicks hatband.  I think it will hold no problem.
Greg, it was red....really.
Donald, thanks man, but we can all stand to be humbled from time to time.  Keeps us hungry.
Thanks to all who have checked in.  Really appreciate it.
BTW, the overlays are plum.  interestingly, it turns a darker rose color as time goes by.  The darker one was done a month ago or 2.  It darkens as time goes by into a peachy color.  Really like it.

Nice lines Slim. Even I can tell that bow is "right". I like those deep string nocks and the tips.

That is a hot one Slim and a popular name. RyanO, me, and I think Pearlie Boy did one named that. And a good band,  too :D

That puts me in pretty good company!  I remember them on tour with a band called Ratt.  Hair band days if I recall.

Talking trees. What do trees have to talk about, hmm... except the consistency of squirrel droppings?

Nice Dee Snider bow!   I love the color of that osage.  You have sure made some nice bows out of that discarded piece of osage.
I started out with nothin' and I still got most of it left

That is one good looking lass  8)
Must have been a battle all the way buy you smashed it. Ton of reflex too plus the recurves opening up at draw, class.

I like the way the overlay and tip looks like a shark.

Nice work Bob!
