here's an osage static i just finished.  she is 62" long and draws 65#@28".  i patterned her after the early bear statics.  i used osage and walnut for the string groves.  i also put a double shelf so i could flip her around and have either limb be the top.  enjoy!

I enjoyed it - that's a beauty!! The tip closeup's a little blurry but looked damn good. That arrra looks yella too, what's it made of?

You did a super nice job on that bow! Just wish I could get a better view of those recurves, osage and walnut look great together. Think we could get a better pic to view, maybe a pic of the handle area also?  Btw, the tiller looks spot on!

Wow, that bow looks really good. I've got to try that design sometime - it doesn't get much better than what you did.

Nice bow Chris. I just built a lam version and thought about posting pics but not after looking at this  :) I'm curious if you dont mind, how long are your tips starting from the curves? Did you flute the brush knocks or does the string just lay on top? And do you notice any more hand shock compared to the standard statics you've built?

Sorry for all the questions, I'm just really into the old deer slayers.
