Hope and change indeed! Good one Pappy! The pickup is an f-150 with the 5.4 triton. I'm gonna pull the heads when i get home and decide whether its prudent to overhaul it or get a longblock. I could get by cheaper with a salvage motor, but I've been burnt before on those. Thanks for the condolences fellas. Josh

Good luck with it Josh, I am with you on Junk yard motors, sometimes it works out good and sometime it don't, been bit enough it's hard for me to go that rout anymore, especially with these late model vehicles so many times if nothing else the on board computer don't want to sink up and cost a bunch just to get that part working,technology ,got to love it.
