My bow should arrive at its destination tomorrow.  Then it will no longer be "my" bow. :(

someone needs to watch the porch tomorrow.  It looks like a piece of yellow wood is on its last leg.

My condolences to whoever recieves "Untamed". Its stuck really good inside that cardboard shipping tube.  The tude is straight.... the bow? Not so much.  Buts its all I had.

The finish on it is citronella candle wax. Who wants pesky mosquitoes messing up their shot? Its the only finish on it.  I really enjoyed building and shooting this bow.  It was an effort between lebhuntfish and I to get her done. See, it was his plan A for the bow trade but he didnt like it. I was having a fit with my plan A, so I traded him for his. He had the profile cut and a ring chased.

A few hours and a KaBar later she was shooting. After some weight loss in the tips and a skinny as heck handle, this bad boy was grouping 2" groups at 20 yards when lebhuntfish ( dude spelling your screen name sucks ),  jo5h and I were shootng it. I reckon 200 arrows so far through it.  Of course alot of that is the arrows but still.... awesome bow to shoot. When held it just feels as if it melts into your bow hand and becomes an extension of your body. Most comfy and wildest bow I ever built.

Pat, I will trade for staves like that any day of the week....

He ment.... his also, not his is going to jeffp51.

That bow of pats is all early draw weight. If feels like a 50# sack of dog food inside the forst 3 inches. Man it stores some power. I wish we had a F/D curve ploted....

he meant "mine too" I think, but for a moment I got a little excited.  I haven't got anything yet though, so there is still hope.  that is one beautiful bow Patrick, and anyone would be lucky to have it.
