yes, to tie on the "necklace". the pouch is just a sheath that slides on and stays on due to friction between the tool and the sheath. its a tight fit. :) if i lost the sheath, fine i can make another. but i dont want to loose that tool. so tied around my neck it will stay.lol Tony
