I got my trade arrow from Dakota Kid today in the mail. Thanks Mike. I opened a thread with the pics of this arrow.

Well as promised,  here are some pictures of the beautiful arrows that Aaron made for me.

Patrick

Beautiful bunny buster made from river cane with a 125g antler blunt point.

A very well made and beautiful dogwood arrow with lightening grooves and a stone point.

I like those, a well matched set I would say.  The antler blunt is neat enough I may have to make myself one.

I was trying to find a leg bone that was the right diameter to slide over a shaft. I couldn't find one that didn't look over sized or was too small to fit.  I don't now why I didn't think of using antler.

Thanks guys, I enjoy making arrows, especially for friends.

Dakota kid, take the blunt idea and run with it, that's what this place is all about, sharing ideas.

And I have to give credit to bowmo, I picked up the stone point from him at the classic this last spring. But, I want to say that he said this is an actual native American artifact that he found and revived life back into.

Cool arrows A-a-ron, nice work.

Just sent mine off. Sorry I missed the deadline.
Did the Native Americans think about all this that much or just do it?
