Buddy trade
« on: March 31, 2018, 01:26:52 pm »
Knoll wanted to do a board bow trade , of course I said yes. Two stipulations, has to be a board and we ship at the same time, Mikey didn't follow all the rules😐. Well he sent me a nice maple bow with a linen backer and nice design, his version of Tim Baker's glued on recurves and an nice fitting handle. #49@29" and shoots very nice, thank ya Mikey, you will get yours.......in a bit lol

She's definitely a looker bubby. Darn nice curves too. That full draw looks right on.

Very nice.  I like the glued on recurves, and look at the grain.  Where are y’all finding boards like that????  What length is the bow?

Bill I've built a lot of righty bows being left handed, the most important thing is to check three times before you put the rest on.and if you still screw up slide a rest in on the other side and say it is ambidextrous 🙄 don't ask

Thanks for the kind/encouraging words, fellas.

Bill, I waited until about the last thing to add shelf. All the shootin' in was done as righty.
And, yes, was constantly talking to myself as began rasping for shelf to assure that did it on correct side.   :-\

I considered having Carol do vid of me trying to pull it as lefty . . . decided some of ya might die laughing.
